Our Mission
At Twice Shy, we are committed to empowering professionals and full-time workers who are victims of domestic violence by providing them with access to international resources and support. Operating exclusively online, our goal is to guide individuals towards safe spaces and helpful services that can assist them in reclaiming their lives. We believe that everyone deserves to feel secure, valued, and supported, regardless of their circumstances.
We are a Non-Profit International Organisation operating exclusively online to provide vital support and access to resources for victims of domestic violence around the world. Our mission is to empower individuals by guiding them to international resources, ensuring they have the support they need without the burden of navigating these challenges alone.
History
Twice Shy was born from the resilience and determination of one of the founders, who has personally experienced the harrowing journey of surviving two long-term domestic violence relationships. These experiences have encouraged collaborations with other individuals and organisations and fuelled a deep commitment to supporting others facing similar challenges. With firsthand knowledge of the barriers and emotional turmoil involved, the organisation is dedicated to creating a supportive community for professionals and full-time workers with limited time to seek help.

Our team consists of experienced volunteers, advocates, and resource coordinators who are passionate about making a difference.
